In honor of his opinion here is a little about myself you may not want or need to know, but for posterity sake here goes nothing.
My favorite scents in the whole world are; wood in the form of sawdust, campfires, old furniture, and old books, peppermint, and orange blossoms in spring. The first because both my Dad and husband could and did work with wood and I would help them. I also have spent many a romantic night by the side of a campfire gazing up at the stars. The second scent peppermint because it reminds me of when I was little and how my mother would sit in her high back chair with her feet up on the ottoman under a throw reading classic literature and drinking peppermint herbal tea. She was always so beautiful and refined to me growing up and I used to love just looking at her in the evenings, it made me feel peaceful and secure. The orange blossoms because the honey dewed nectar was the first scent I smelled when I realized that I was in love for the first time. We were walking through and orange tree grove, and the scent made the moment that much richer.
Every year I read Wuthering Heights at Christmas.
Well spoken and written words make me weak in the knees. It is probably a very good thing that I was not born during Byron, Keats, or Tennysons time. What a sucker I would have been.
Elizabeth Cady Stanton is my ideal best friend, and when I read her words I never feel alone.
I never get my hair cut by professionals anymore. They see a Mom with kids and they think Short-Asexual-boring. I learned how to cut my own hair three years ago after I became fed up. I have had thousands (literally) of compliments on my hair since.
I love dogs, hiking, and a good argument-not the screaming kind but the kind that makes you think.
I love to perform and was on the stage a great deal, and have been on the stage again lately performing in front of large crowds. It is fun to get out of your shell and for a little while be someone else.
I feel the most happy on rainy days and in a forest.
Autumn is my favorite season, and I get pretty annoyed every year when the people in this state move the celebration of Halloween to another day because it falls on Sunday. I am sorry, but they just don't understand this totally wonderful holiday. It is a celebration of the harvest. It is the original Thanksgiving. My love of this holiday is enough of a reason to move to New England where they know how to celebrate it correctly and thoroughly.
I am most attracted to nobility in men, and it is an increasingly rare attribute to find.
I love reading and have read classic literature since I was young. For this reason many people find me snobbish.
I love berries. Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, lingonberries, blackberries you name it I love it, and the addition of custard, chocolate, or whip cream is in my opinion one of the best things ever invented by God or man.
I also love fish.
I often feel I should move to a Scandinavian country because I am a feminist, and my husband wouldn't have to hear "Can't you control your wife?"
There you have it, me in a nutshell. Of course this list can and will change tomorrow.
