I Will

So many times every year we say.."my goals, or I need to do.." but I have found that those lists rarely get done to completion. So I have started an I Will journal and to begin the New Year I will put a few "I Wills" on here.
1. I will..start saying what I am thinking. Respectfully, but clearly. I won't say things like "please back away from me you have the worst breath ever, and I just met you so please stop grabbing my shoulder." I will say "would you mind backing up? My personal comfort zone is about Three feet" That sort of thing.

2. I will..work even harder on maintaining my health and make time every day for healthier choices.

3. I will..finish those things that I started.

4. I will..establish a firm bedtime routine with my kids, and for myself.

5. I will..make more time for things I have put off like girls nights and other things.

6. I will..wake up every morning and realize what a gift the day is.

7. I will..study more from the New Testament (it is my favorite set of canon)

8. I will..set neccessary limits on things.

9. I will..Travel and continue to learn about the differences between people while remembering their key similarities.

10. I will..accept those things about me that I enjoy even if others do not, and stop apologizing for being the type of woman who asks questions, won't settle for "I don't know, Why do you want to know, or If you were a good person you wouldn't ask!" answers

Life is not about merely today, but today is about tomorrow, yesterday, and every future day. You can't live in the present without asking "why" of yesterday, "what" about tomorrow, and "when" today. At least I can't.
