Valentines day events

The day started out well enough for a valentines day. I made my families favorite breakfast (eggs via Giada De Laurentiis and family). Then we gave the girls their candy boxes and left a flower on their dressers for them. After that we went to church and returned to a wonderful dinner of coconut shrimp, salmon, raspberry spring salad, home made rolls, and potatos. For dessert they had a choice of Molten Lava cakes or creme brulee. They all chose the lava cakes which means creme brulee for the hubby and me later tonight with a rich berry sauce. I am SO exstatic to be up and moving (even if i need a nap twice a day still). For Valentines day the hubby found two of my favorite movies: An Affair to Remember with Cary Grant, and Undercover Blues. Undercover Blues is not so much a classic, but it is a movie devoted to sarcasm and as a result one of my all time favorites. He surprised me with them both and we are going to cuddle and watch an affair to remember after the kids fall asleep. I even managed to decorate the table, but since my camera battery is dead there won't be picture evidence of my tablescape :-( Oh, well. I hope you all had a wonderful and memorable valentines day with your sweetheart!

ALIVE!

I am Alive! I actually went to the store and got to feel the sun on my face yesterday! I never thought I would or could be so grateful for the opportunity to do my own dishes and clean my house. Laying in bed for two weeks gives you great perspective on life. For example, you realize just how unprepared your husband would be for your departure from this life. You also have a lot of time to think (when you are not hallucinating) about your life and how you would improve it. Thank you to everyone who wished me well, and for your kind comments. They were much needed, and greatly appreciated! I love having my health back, and have begun taking steps to ensure its maintainance. I hope you will all do the same, and find a way to be healthier because illness is NO FUN! Thanks again everyone, and have a great valentines day!
