Mothers day Musings

So, Today was beautiful for a few reasons, and I want to write them so that I will have a remembrance of them.
First, the baby only woke up once during the night at 5am with the sun. Then went right back to sleep! Hurray! I feel very spoiled right now.
Then, when she did wake up she didn't cry for me. Instead she sat in her crib rhyming words and laughing about it.
"Choo-choo...Poo poo" (insert giggle) then "Mama...Dada" (insert giggle) then "Dog.................." (long pause) "No" It was so cute. This little girl loves books, loves the English language, and is the only one to inherit this from me!
Then the husband, who three years ago couldn't make his own sandwich, make me an omelet with toast and Dr. Pepper for breakfast. Those of you thinking "where's the orange juice" don't know me. The oldest made me the most beautiful card I have ever recieved in her crafts class and the inside was filled with nothing but "I love You Mom" written one hundred times really small.
The middle child wished me a happy mothers day and then gave me a flower she bought with her own money from allowance. This sacrifice was really large if you take into account her love of money. It has been a good day. I hope that you all have a wonderful mothers day as well! Happy mothers day!
