Today was a very special day. It was my husbands birthday. I like to get him something special, and I love to spend time searching for something that will make him happy, and make a memory. So, since I did grow up in Alaska I have certain skills that are not that common among young women my age. Case in point...













I was a bit hesitant to commit to doing this. First, I prefer bolt action. Second, people in AZ seem to have generally loose ideas about how dangerous these things really can be. I have a VERY healthy respect/fear for them. That is a 308, and the smoke that rose off of it was unbelievable, as was the shock wave. So, this is the exstatic birthday boy, living all of his childhood (I am G.I.Joe) dreams. Can you see the glimmer in his eye?
